This page is offered as a place to share arrangements for the funeral rites of Reverend Colonel Timothy Mannix Gahan, USMC (Retired), and to provide a place where family and friends may gather in remembrance, prayer, and quiet reflection.
Father Gahan, a resident of Lockhart and The Hermitage Farm in Rising Star, Texas, died on 3 March 2026 after a brief illness. He was born on 23 May 1945 in Medford, Massachusetts.
Those who wish may, in lieu of flowers, make memorial offerings to Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles or Regina Mater School.
14 March 2026
A visitation was held at 2:00 p.m. at the Thomason Funeral Home in Lockhart, Texas. The Holy Rosary for the repose of his soul was prayed there at 3:00 p.m. The event was live streamed, and a reception followed.
2 June 2026
A Requiem Mass was offered at the Memorial Chapel on Marine Corps Base Quantico at 11:00 am.

The burial followed the mass at Quantico National Cemetery at 1:30 pm. A reception followed the burial at 3:00 to 6:00 pm.
